Warranty Policy

Last updated: May 13, 2026

This Warranty Policy applies to products supplied by Nova Luce S.A. through its business-to-business and other authorized sales channels, unless different warranty terms are expressly agreed in writing for a specific product or project.

1. Scope

This policy applies to business customers and, where applicable, other professional purchasers. It describes the commercial warranty offered by Nova Luce and does not replace any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

2. Warranty Coverage

Nova Luce warrants that its products will, at the time of delivery, materially conform to the agreed specifications and be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal and proper use.

Unless a different warranty period is stated in writing for a specific product, the warranty period begins on the date of delivery to the customer.

3. Conditions for a Claim

To submit a warranty claim, the customer must:

  • provide proof of purchase, invoice, delivery note, or order reference;

  • describe the defect clearly and in sufficient detail;

  • provide photographs, videos, or other supporting information where reasonably requested;

  • allow Nova Luce a reasonable opportunity to inspect the product or verify the defect; and

  • ensure that the product has been stored, installed, used, and maintained in accordance with Nova Luce's instructions and technical documentation.

A warranty claim may be refused if outstanding payment obligations relating to the relevant product or order have not been met, to the extent permitted by law.

4. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects, failures, or damage caused by:

  • incorrect installation, misuse, abuse, negligence, or accident;

  • failure to follow installation, operation, care, cleaning, or maintenance instructions;

  • unauthorized modification, repair, tampering, or alteration;

  • normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes, or surface aging that do not affect proper function;

  • external factors such as power fluctuations, voltage surges, environmental conditions, moisture, corrosion, exposure to inappropriate temperatures, or contamination;

  • transport damage occurring after risk has passed to the customer or a third party arranged by the customer;

  • use outside the product's intended purpose or technical specifications; or

  • force majeure or other events beyond Nova Luce's reasonable control.

5. Warranty Remedies

If a valid warranty claim is accepted, Nova Luce may, at its option and to the extent permitted by law:

  • repair the product;

  • replace the product or the defective part with the same or an equivalent item;

  • supply replacement components;

  • issue a credit note or price adjustment; or

  • apply another commercially reasonable remedy.

The chosen remedy will be limited to the defective product or part and will not include indirect or consequential losses, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

6. Return of Defective Products

Nova Luce may require the return of the defective product or part before confirming or processing a claim. Returned items must be securely packed and clearly marked with the relevant claim, invoice, or order details.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, return shipping costs for approved warranty claims will be handled according to Nova Luce's instructions.

7. Limitation

This warranty is provided only to the original customer or purchaser, unless Nova Luce agrees otherwise in writing. Except as expressly stated in this policy or required by applicable law, Nova Luce gives no additional warranties, express or implied.

8. Governing Law

This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of Greece.
